Review: The carrier umbrella material is cheapAfter. 2 uses there’s a hole in the umbrella and the plastic white support is exposed. The umbrella zipper is difficult to zip. Also the way the stroller bar is positioned is uncomfortable to push for long distance.

Review: Absolutely has made transporting my cats a dream! They are 30 pounds together, and I can no longer carry them without significant jostling. This has made their trips to the vet so much smoother and allows them enough room to be comfortable. The wheels are so quiet and smooth. And the bottom level is so convenient for holding meds/paperwork/phone/etc.The 2-star reduction is for a significant flaw in the back wheels and the lack of convenience for loading/unloading the cats. It can also be a bit difficult to lock the removable carrier back into place with the pets inside.First for the wheels- I am not sure if I got a defective unit or if this is a flaw with all of them. The back wheels are designed to snap onto the metal axle. On my carrier this axle is flimsy, and tends to bow, even under the weight of a single cat. In addition to the bowing, this causes one of the wheels to work its way off the axis. I constantly have to push it back in, even in the short trips from the car into the reception, and back to the exam room. If I don’t hold the weight off the back and stop and tap it back in with my foot every few steps, the wheel would come off entirely. (I am going to try to find a heavier metal axle as a permanent replacement, to hopefully fix this.)As for the ease of access for loading/unloading – I greatly prefer toploading carriers for getting my kitties out, when needed. There are zippers to access from both the front and the back of the carrier; and the top also zips in place and can be used, but basically opens up the WHOLE carrier, which makes it hard to stop one cat from escaping while loading the other cat.I do like that the carrier is detachable from the stroller, because my main use is for vet visits, so I detach from the stroller for car rides, then snap back onto the stroller for the walk across the parking lot and into the vet office. If the whole thing were just a bit sturdier or had more rigid connectors; I think it would be easier to reconnect the carrier to the stroller. It is a bit of a hassle, but not prohibitively so.My real main complaint is the defective back wheels/axle issue.
