Review: I really like this jumpsuit, and remarkably, so does my recently adopted skittish, fearful rescue! Clover is from AL and about to experience her first MN winter. She has no undercoat, little belly and leg fur, and shivered during her first sub-freezing morning potty break this weekend.I ordered Clover the 2XL, 26.5″ chest, which best matched her chest size. She’s 49 lbs., 26″ chest and 24″ collar to base of tail. Because the jumpsuit stretches, it fits her perfectly even though the 2XL is described for 25-33 lb. and 18″ length dogs. I wanted to ensure a close, not loose fit – close fit clothing (not tight) traps heat better than loose fit and ensures a snow-frolicking dog won’t get snow packed under the jumpsuit. What I like about this well-thought-out jumpsuit:1.) FINALLY, a jumpsuit that covers as much GIRL dog belly as possible. Clever, girl-optimized, boy-customizable rather than most others, which compromise girl coverage to accommodate boy anatomy.2.) Long legs provide maximum warmth and fur-snowball protection. High rear leg cutouts ensure the dog can’t step out of the rear legs.3.) Wide, close-fit leg cuffs prevent snow ingress, yet aren’t a pressure point like elastic bands.4.) Pullover design is easier to dress onto an uncooperative dog than styles with front or back zippers. You can incrementally dress the legs, rather than attempt/hope four legs remain in the leggings while you zip a zipper. Just first pull the jumpsuit it over the dog’s head, then dress the front legs, and the rear legs last.5.) Stretchy, light weight fleece is an excellent base layer under a full coat, or a nice, cozy winter energy-saving, thermostat-setback doggie house-outfit.6.) Well-made and attractive blue color.I recommend this jumpsuit, and recommend you size it according to your dog’s chest measurement. Don’t fret if the weight and length measurements don’t match your pooch.

Review: So, this is Ranger, my Arizona (Texas and Louisiana) raised boy. He now lives in North Dakota (south Canada) and is not a fan of the cold. He LOVES the snow (not that you can really tell by this video), but he hasn’t really adjusted to the harsh winters up here, and in all fairness, neither have I. It’s terrible. 0/10 don’t recommend. However, I decided that I wanted to find him some stuff to help keep him warmer since his fur is so short and the wind here is ridiculous. So I got him a fleece lined jacket and then this pictured “windbreaker” (in the largest size, I might add). It does well in keeping his body dry, and I think it’s pretty effective as a windbreaker. My only complaint is that the chest buckle is kind of tight, even without the bottom layer jacket. Other than that, if your dog doesn’t have a massive chest, or if it does, I would still recommend. He looks miserable in the picture, but it’s the only way he’ll let me take him on walks.
