Review: I am doing physical therapy on an injured wrist and need some light weights to build up strength. These adjustable dumbbells are perfect for what I need. I don’t have to buy multiple sets of lightweight dumbbells from 2-10 lbs. I just use these and adjust the weight accordingly.The neoprene cover on the dumbbells provides a good grip. It is not the smooth one that slides around. It stays sturdy and helps with my wrist. The dumbbells also come with a workout app, which I have not used yet since I am still in recovery for the injury, but I do look forward to using the workouts in the near future.

Review: This is the perfect set of light weight adjustable dumbbells. They adjust from 2-8 lbs. perfect for exercises that need light weight, an increase in difficulty on body weight exercises or just to use while walking. Love these and have gotten a lot of use out of them already. They adjust easily and are a perfect addition to my home gym.

Review: So you don’t make the same mistake I did–these are not individual 9 lb dumbbells. The maximum individual dumbbell weight is 4 lb by my kitchen scale. Each add on weight is just under half a lb. One add on weight on each side is easily removable. I think the other two could be pried out, but it wasn’t doable with just my fingers.So from a practical POV, the weight of each dumbbell is adjustable from 3 to 4 lbs. If all the weights are removable, you’re left with the 2lb handles. Just want to make sure you know what you’d be getting.I was trying to figure out the use case for these. For the amount of weight, they’re quite long (though the weight is centered in the grip, so the balance is fine.) If you want some extra weight while you’re walking or doing cardio, these seem unwieldy. And do you need adjustability for that?I also found the grips a little thick and definitely uncomfortable. I would not want to hold them for a long time.If you want weights that you can use for renegade rows or as push up handles, these weights are not the right shape.And the plastic threading of the end caps are incredibly cheap and flimsy. These aren’t going to last if you’re adjusting frequently.Oh, one more thing, be very careful when you open the end caps. The add on weight is not secured and when I opened it from the top, it fell and hit me. Open it from the bottom, so the weight falls into the cap.So, I can’t recommend these at this price. You can find cheap hex-shaped light weights at discount stores that are much more durable than these. Separate sets of 2lb and 4 lb weights would cost less than the list price here, be more versatile and comfortable. The only reason to get these would be if space-saving is the most important thing.
